About research (Research areas)

The researchers of the Institute have taken part in current discussions on questions of legal policy by giving lectures and writing articles. They have also participated in working groups and served as experts in criminological issues. Members of the institute staff have also participated in international co-operation as members in
international organisations and by taking part in seminars and international research projects such as the European victim survey and crime research in nearby areas (Russia and the Baltic Countries).
